Shaun is one of the Directors here at Coral Coast Physiotherapy and Allied Health and has been a Physiotherapist with the clinic since 2017. Shaun originally started his time with us as an administration and physio assistant whilst completing his Bachelor in Physiotherapy at CQU here in Bundaberg.

Shaun is a born and bred Bundy boy, who completed his schooling at Bundaberg State High School and thoroughly enjoyed sport throughout his years, which led him into his interest in Physiotherapy. Growing up, Shaun loved spending his time either Motorbike riding or surfing.

During his career, Shaun has established a love for being a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and has been lucky to work collaboratively with a range of different health professionals, including surgeons, to help his patients. He never lets an opportunity go astray as he has worked as a Physio with local Beach Volleyball, Rugby League and soccer sporting events and organisations.

Returning to his roots, Shaun has found a unique love for working with Action Sports and has been lucky enough to work with WMIGlobal, who is a premium international professional sports medical service. Through this role, Shaun has worked as the Medical Manager on numerous Nitro Circus Australian tours and during the 2022 Nitro Circus World Games event. With this experience, Shaun had the opportunity to work with world class athletes and multiple x-game medallist in the fields of BMX, FMX, Skateboarding and Scooter. In 2021, Shaun toured as the Physiotherapist in the “Freestyle Kings” first ever tour, in which he also got to work with some of Australia’s and the world’s best Freestyle Motocross riders. In recent years, Shaun has also started working at Pre-Olympic qualifying events in the fields of Freestyle BMX and Skateboarding, both domestically and internationally.

In his spare time Shaun LOVES to hit the gym, go surfing and travel with his partner. Shaun has recently started to fall in love with Scuba diving and has started to complete his PADI Certifications.
